Birch River
1.JOHN6 BAUGHMAN (CHRISTOPHER5, HENRY4, HENRY3, JACOB2, HEINRICH1) was born February 03,1814 in his father's home on Birch River, near the mouth of Skyles Creek, Greenbrier County,, and died on the Gauley Mountains, due to an accident Abt. 1895. He was buried on his home farm, on the Birch River at headwaters of Turkey Creek. He married SUSANAH DYER November 06, 1834. Susanah (Susan), born August 25, 1814, and died April 4,1896 in a cemetery where she lived all her married life.
As Anna Dodril stated in her recordings, Susan and John settled on a farm on Birch river about three-quarters of a mile above the mouth of Skyles Creek, where they resided all their lives. John was post master and had a store at Baughman, which was robbed on several occasions. Once the culprits were caught, indited, tried, convicted and sentenced, they served a term in the state prison at Moundsville, WV.

WILLIAM C.7 BAUGHMAN (JOHN6, CHRISTOPHER5, HENRY4, HENRY3, JACOB2, HEINRICH1) was born December 05, 1837 in on his father's farm, on Birch River, Nicholas Co., Virginia, and died November 1900 in Buried in cemetery on his father's farm, on Birch River. He married CAROLINE ALDERMAN, who was reared on Roaring Creek, Pocahontas County.

iii. ALFRED BAUGHMAN, b. on his father's farm, on Birch River, Nicholas Co., Virginia; d. 1954, Tioga, W.V. in the MIller Cemetery on back fork of Elk River, Webster Springs, West Virginia.
iv. JOHN ALBERT BAUGHMAN, b. on his father's farm, on Birch River, Nicholas Co., Virginia. John was a twin to Alfred and was last known to be living in Rivhmond, VA.
v. DORA BAUGHMAN, b. on her father's farm, Birch River, Nicholas Co., Va.; d. Bef. 1955; m. OKEY MOLLOHAN, and resided all her life on her grandfather's farm
vi. JOSIE BAUGHMAN, b. Birch River, near the mouth of Stykes Creek; m. BUD MOLLOHAN. They lived on the James F. Brown homestead at Birch River, WV.
3. MORGAN DAVID7 BAUGHMAN (JOHN6, CHRISTOPHER5, HENRY4, HENRY3, JACOB2, HEINRICH1) was born March 13, 1843 in on his father's farm, on Birch River, Nicholas Co., Virginia, and died January 19, 1919. He married MARGARET ANN DODRILL on June 15, 1865. She was daughter of John Dodrill and was born , February 24,1843 on Birch River at mouth of Poplar Creek, Nicholas County. she died September 29,1899.
Children of Morgan Baughman and Margaret Dodrill are: i. MARY ISABELL8 BAUGHMAN, b. June 15, 1866, Skyles Creek, Webster Co., W.V.; d. June 22, 1938, Birch River.; m. JOHN "Gauley John" HAMRICK on November 12, 1891. Jophn was born at or near Turkey Creek on Gauley River, Randolph County. They made their home on Birch River. ii. JOHN L. BAUGHMAN, b. April 25, 1868, Skyles Creek, Webster Co., W.V.; d. February 28, 1955; m. ROBINSON. iii. SUSAN JANE BAUGHMAN, b. October 01, 1870, Skyles Creek, Webster Co., W.V.; m. JOHN F. BOGGS, May 1895. iv. SAMANTHA GEORGIA BAUGHMAN, b. April 25, 1873, Sykes Creek, Webster Co. m. VAN BUREN HAMMACK. They made their home in Birch Valley and later moved to Braxton County, WV. v. JAMES EMORY BAUGHMAN, b.
